At the opening ceremony of the IOI 2015
While talking to this guy from Алматы, who had offered us a watermelon, we found out that he used to serve in the Советская Армия (the soviet army) and now works as a blacksmith and a taxi driver. He later insisted on driving us to town. 7 people in a car that was made for 5, which worked quite well to our surprise :)

Yes, you saw correctly; this isn't because of bad editing, not because of a terrible web compression either, it really is just a smartphone camera at work... Everyone who's ever talked to me about photography knows that I'd never do this normally, but the circumstances forced me to upload a phone camera picture. I didn't have a proper camera with me but I just couldn't bear to miss the opportunity. So there you have it. It won't happen again very soon. Hopefully.
